Who can see your site

It is not in Google, and that is deliberate

Published wedding sites are kept out of search engines. This is not a setting you need to find — it applies to every site, always.

The reason is not yours alone. Your page carries the full names of your parents, your ninong and ninang, your sponsors and your entourage — people who never signed up for anything — plus your venue, and often a GCash number. None of that belongs in a search result.

So the only way in is the link. That is why sharing it well matters, and why nobody stumbles onto your site by accident.

Password protection

On Premium you can put a password on the whole site. Guests enter it once and then browse normally.

Worth thinking about before you switch it on: a password is one more thing to include in every message, and one more thing an older relative can get wrong. It suits a small or private wedding, and it gets in the way of a large one where the link is being forwarded through several group chats.

If your concern is the guest list specifically rather than the whole page, a password is the right tool — the RSVP form identifies guests by name rather than by any secret, so anyone with the link can see the names on your page.

Sections only for guests who have replied

You can mark sections as private to particular kinds of guest. Those sections are not sent to the page at all until a guest has replied and been identified — they are not hidden with styling, they are genuinely absent.

This is what to use for the things not everyone should see: the reception address when the ceremony is public, a seating lookup, details meant only for the entourage.

Checking what a guest sees

Premium sites have a Test as Guest mode: open your own published site as a visitor would, so you can see what is visible before a reply and what appears after one. Nothing you do in that mode is saved, and no RSVP is recorded.

It is the only reliable way to check a private section is actually private. Reading the editor tells you what you intended; this tells you what shipped.

After the wedding

Your site stays up — six months past the wedding on the free tier, twenty-four on Premium — and can switch to a thank-you mode afterwards. Premium sites can also download an archive of the whole thing to keep.
