Inviting your partner or your coordinator

A wedding is not usually planned by one person, so a Premium site can be shared.

Two kinds of access

• Partner. Full editing. They can change sections, add guests, upload photos — everything you can do, apart from billing.
• Coordinator. Read-only. They can see your site and your guest list and download the printable documents, but cannot change anything.

The coordinator's limit is enforced by the database itself rather than by hiding buttons, so it holds regardless of what they click.

Billing, sending further invitations, and publishing stay with you as the owner.

How to invite someone

Enter their email address. They get a message with a link that signs them in.

They sign in with their own password, not yours. An invited account has no password until they set one — so if they try to guess yours, every attempt is correctly rejected. Tell them to use the link in the email rather than going to the login page.

That link is single-use and aimed at the right place. If it has been used or has gone stale, send a fresh invitation rather than trying to reuse the old email.

If they cannot get in

Almost always one of these:

• They went to the login page instead of using the emailed link. Without a password set, nothing they type will work. Have them open the invitation email.
• The email is in spam. Ask them to search for it before you resend.
• A different email address. The invitation is tied to the address you typed. If they use another one, invite that one instead.

Editing at the same time

You can both work on the site at once. Changes are merged rather than overwriting each other, so your partner adding the entourage while you edit the schedule keeps both.

The one case that still resolves to a single winner is two people editing the same section within a couple of seconds of each other. In practice, say who is doing what.

Removing someone

Access can be withdrawn at any time from the same screen. Their account continues to exist; it simply stops reaching your site.
