Terms of Service

Welcome to Nupta (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using our services at nupta.site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Nupta

Nupta is a wedding website platform designed for Filipino couples. We provide tools to create wedding websites, manage guest lists, collect RSVPs, and share wedding details with guests.

2. Beta Program

Nupta is currently in closed beta. Access is by invitation only. As a beta tester, you understand and agree that:

  • The service is provided “as is” and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.
  • We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or data preservation during the beta period.
  • Your feedback may be used to improve the product. You will not be compensated for feedback unless separately agreed upon.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You can update your name, email, and password from your account settings in the dashboard. You can delete your account at any time, which schedules your data for permanent removal after a 30-day grace period.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Nupta, including photos, text, and wedding details (“Your Content”). By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your guests.

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
  • Contains malware, spam, or phishing attempts
  • Violates any applicable law, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.

5. Guest Data & Your Responsibilities

When you upload your guest list or collect RSVPs through your wedding website, you are sharing other people's personal information with us (names, contact details, dietary preferences, etc.).

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the appropriate basis to share your guests' personal information with Nupta for the purpose of managing your wedding
  • Not uploading sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for wedding logistics (e.g., do not upload government IDs, financial information, or health records)
  • Understanding that your published wedding website is publicly accessible unless you enable password protection (Premium feature)

We process guest data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and do not use it for our own marketing or share it with third parties.

6. Published Wedding Websites

Wedding websites created on Nupta are hosted at subdomains of nupta.site (e.g., yournames.nupta.site) or on custom domains (Premium feature). Published sites are publicly accessible by default — anyone with the link can view them.

Premium users can enable password protection to restrict access. You can unpublish your site at any time from the dashboard, which immediately removes public access.

We reserve the right to remove or reassign subdomains that violate these terms, are inactive, or contain inappropriate content.

7. Free & Premium Tiers

Nupta offers a free tier and a Premium tier. The free tier includes core features with usage limits (e.g., 100 guests, 12 sections, 50 MB storage). Premium unlocks all features and removes limits.

We may adjust the features or limits of either tier. If we reduce features you are actively using, we will give you reasonable notice and, where possible, allow you to export your data.

8. Payments

Premium features are available as a one-time payment of ₱999 (Philippine Pesos). This is not a subscription — there are no recurring charges. Additional purchases (e.g., extra AI generation cycles) are also one-time.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@nupta.site within 14 days of purchase if you believe a refund is warranted.

9. Data Retention & Hosting

Free-tier sites are automatically archived 6 months after the wedding date. Premium sites are archived after 12 months. You will receive email reminders at 30 days and 7 days before archival.

After archival, your site is no longer publicly accessible, but your data remains in your account. You may download or delete your data at any time from your dashboard.

If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed after a 30-day grace period. See our Privacy Notice for full details.

10. Emails & Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive:

  • Transactional emails (always sent): account confirmations, password resets, payment receipts, RSVP notifications, and security alerts.
  • Marketing emails (can be unsubscribed): onboarding tips, product updates, feedback requests, and referral invitations.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect transactional emails required for your account and service operation.

11. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Nupta to:

  • Create websites for purposes other than personal wedding celebrations
  • Collect personal information from guests for purposes unrelated to your wedding
  • Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages through the platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nupta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, service interruptions, or any issues arising on or around your wedding day.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₱999, whichever is less.

We strongly recommend having backup communication channels with your guests (e.g., group chats, printed materials) and not relying solely on any digital service for critical wedding-day logistics.

13. Intellectual Property

The Nupta name, logo (sampaguita wordmark), templates, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.

Wedding website templates are licensed for your personal use on the platform only. You may not extract, replicate, or redistribute template code or designs.

14. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Notice for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
