Sharing your site with guests

Nobody finds a wedding website by searching for it. Yours will reach people almost entirely through Messenger, Viber and family group chats, so the link is the distribution plan.

Send the link, not a screenshot

A screenshot cannot be tapped, and the RSVP is the whole point. Paste the address itself.

Your link renders a preview card when pasted into Messenger, Viber or Facebook, so people see your names and design rather than a bare URL.

Where to send it

• The family group chats. This is where most replies come from. Send it once, then again about a week before the deadline.
• On the invitation, printed. A short address is worth the effort here.
• One-to-one, for the people who matter most. Ninong and ninang, the entourage, anyone whose reply you actually need. A personal message gets a reply; a group message gets read and forgotten.

Give people a reason to tap

"Here is our website" gets ignored. Say what you need:

Here are the details and the RSVP — please reply by the 20th so we can give the caterer numbers. (link)

The deadline and the reason are what make people act. Titas in particular will reply immediately if they understand somebody is waiting on the number.

What to expect

Guests will still reply in the chat itself — "we are coming!" — rather than on the form. That is normal, and it is not a failure. Record those yourself on your guest list so they land in the same count as the rest.

Chasing the ones who have not replied

Your guest list shows who has not answered, which is the list worth working through by hand a couple of weeks out. A direct message to eight people gets more replies than another broadcast to eighty.

Your site is not in search results

Published wedding sites are deliberately kept out of Google. They carry the full names of parents, ninong and ninang, sponsors and the entourage — people who never signed up for anything — plus your venue and sometimes a GCash number.

So the link is genuinely the only way in, which is also why it is worth sending more than once.
