Publishing your site

Publishing is the switch that turns your address from nothing into a live page. Before it, only you and anyone you have invited to edit can see the site.

What changes

• Your yournames.nupta.site address starts serving the page to anyone with the link.
• Your RSVP form starts accepting replies.
• Nothing else. Publishing does not lock anything — you can keep editing, and changes appear on the live page within about a minute.

Check these before you publish

• Open it on a phone. Most of your guests will never see it on a laptop. Titas in particular will open it in a group chat, on an older Android.
• Your date and venue. These are the two things people screenshot.
• Your RSVP deadline. Set it now rather than later — see below.
• Your name spellings, especially in the entourage. These are other people's names and they notice.

Why it sometimes asks about your deadline

If your RSVP deadline would close the form well before your wedding, Nupta stops and asks you to confirm rather than publishing quietly.

That check exists because it happened: a published site sat with its RSVP form closed for around eight weeks, with the wedding still ahead, and nobody noticed until it was six days out. Guests opening the link saw a closed form and messaged the couple instead.

You can still proceed — it is a confirmation, not a refusal. A deadline roughly a month out is normal and passes without comment, because caterers usually want final numbers two to four weeks before.

You can publish an unfinished site

Nothing forces you to complete every section first, and most couples publish on the day they create the site, then keep filling it in. A published site with your date and an RSVP form does more for you than a perfect draft nobody can see.

How long it stays up

A free site is hosted through your wedding and for six months afterwards. Premium extends that to twenty-four months. The window is measured from your wedding date, not from the day you published, so publishing early costs you nothing.
